In recent days, Tapswap coin mining has captured the attention of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, particularly in Nigeria, where individuals of all ages have been seen in viral videos tirelessly tapping away on their phones. This phenomenon centers around a Telegram coin bot, which users hope will yield financial returns.

Despite Tapswap not officially launching yet, the project has amassed a substantial following, with over 28 million people in its Telegram community. Cryptocurrency expert Fidelis Ozuawala recently shed light on what Tapswap entails and the potential for miners to profit from the project.

Understanding Tapswap

Fidelis, who runs Waptutors Academy, described Tapswap as a Telegram mobile in-app game. Users earn shares or points by tapping their screens and completing simple tasks. The primary goal is to gather a large user base in anticipation of launching a decentralized swapping dex (decentralized exchange).

Tapswap on an Exchange

Fidelis explained that once Tapswap is listed on an exchange, it will become tradeable. Users will be able to send their shares to an exchange and trade them for real cash, while new investors can buy and trade the tokens for profit.

Monetizing Tapswap

Addressing skepticism about the profitability of Tapswap, Fidelis emphasized that the Tapswap team has already secured funding from various tasks users performed, such as joining Telegram groups and subscribing to YouTube channels. These activities attracted sponsorship deals, generating revenue for the team.

Moreover, listing on an exchange will attract over 30 million users, many of whom are new to cryptocurrency. This influx benefits the exchange, which gains new users, and the Tapswap team, which receives compensation from the exchange for driving user traffic. Users, in turn, will benefit from sponsorship deals previously secured by Tapswap.

Converting Points to Crypto

Miners will eventually exchange their accumulated points or shares for cryptocurrency tokens like USDT. This conversion process enables them to monetize their efforts.

Platform Changes and Expectations

Although Tapswap initially planned to launch on the Solana blockchain, this is no longer the case. Fidelis speculates that the launch will occur on either the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or the Ethereum chain, depending on the support and listing opportunities available.

As for expectations, Fidelis advises miners to manage their hopes realistically. While substantial earnings are possible, they depend on the quantity of tokens held and the listing price set by Tapswap.

Community Reactions

The anticipation around Tapswap has led to various personal promises and success stories. One Nigerian man, for example, hopes to buy his mother a car with his earnings. Another youth showcased an air conditioner he purchased with profits from a similar platform, Notcoin, urging others to persist in their mining efforts.

Tapswap’s official launch is eagerly awaited by its vast community, poised to see if their digital labor will yield tangible rewards.
