Terpase Iorchia from Nigeria is optimistic, saying, “I’m excited about the Roadmap V2. Hopefully, the core team will adhere to the scheduled timeline for the open mainnet.” Obina Obiageri echoes this sentiment, appreciating the PCT’s commitment to transparency and communication: “I’m confident they will launch the open mainnet as soon as possible.”
Ruth Afa acknowledges a bit of disappointment but expresses understanding, stating, “I’m a bit disappointed about the lack of a specific date for open mainnet, but I understand the PCT’s need to be cautious. I’m happy to continue mining Pi coins and supporting the project in the meantime.”
The Pi Network team is actively involved in various initiatives, including completing the KYC verification process for all Pioneers, developing and testing Pi-powered applications and services, and collaborating with partners to integrate the Pi Network into existing ecosystems. The recently revealed Roadmap V2 in December 2023 outlines a timeline for the open Mainnet in 2024, providing much-needed clarity for the community.
While the Pi Network is still in development, significant progress is evident, fueling anticipation for the upcoming Roadmap V2 release. In the meantime, Pioneers are encouraged to continue mining Pi coins, exploring Pi Network applications, and actively participating in various testnet programs.
