Pi Network Community in Nigeria Reacts Positively to Roadmap V2 Announcement

The Pi Network community in Nigeria is buzzing with excitement following the recent announcement of Roadmap V2 by the Pi Core Team (PCT). Pioneers are particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of receiving a more concrete timeline for the eagerly anticipated open mainnet launch.

While some Pioneers have voiced concerns over the absence of a specific date for the open mainnet, a majority seem to understand and support the PCT’s careful approach to ensure the Pi Network’s readiness. The community’s reactions are diverse, reflecting a blend of anticipation, confidence, and patience.

Terpase Iorchia from Nigeria expressed optimism, stating, “I’m excited to hear about the Roadmap V2. Hopefully, the core team will stick to the scheduled timeline for the open mainnet.” This sentiment is echoed by Obina Obiageri, who emphasized appreciation for the PCT’s commitment to transparency and communication, saying, “I’m confident they will launch open mainnet as soon as possible.”

On the other hand, Ruth Afa acknowledged a degree of disappointment but expressed understanding, stating, “I’m a little disappointed that there’s still no specific date for open mainnet, but I understand the PCT’s need to be cautious. I’m happy to continue mining Pi coins and supporting the project in the meantime.”

The Pi Network team is actively engaged in various initiatives, including completing the KYC verification process for all Pioneers, developing and testing Pi-powered applications and services, and collaborating with partners to integrate the Pi Network into existing ecosystems. The recently released Roadmap V2 in December 2023 outlines a timeline for open Mainnet in 2024, providing much-needed clarity for the community.

Although the Pi Network is still in development, it is making substantial progress, leaving the community eager for the upcoming Roadmap V2 release. Meanwhile, Pioneers are encouraged to continue mining Pi coins, explore Pi Network applications, and actively participate in the various testnet programs.
