According to Pi News Media, the mainnet roadmap v1 is set to be unveiled in mid-October, with v2 scheduled for release in the fourth quarter (Q4). To authenticate this revelation, the media outlet shared an image of the CEO’s statement from Discord. Nevertheless, this announcement generated some confusion and dissatisfaction among users.
“Mid-October falls within the fourth quarter of the calendar year. Unless @nkokkalis was referring to the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, it suggests that the unveiling of V2 will likely happen between January and March 2024, possibly coinciding with Pi Day,” Cortez wrote on X.
In the comments section of Pi News Media’s post, a user named Gideon 6ix raised a valid query, questioning whether mid-October falls within Q4. Another user astutely noted that the CEO hadn’t specified the year in question.
Danilo Cortez Jr., among others, speculated from the CEO’s statement that Roadmap v2 might coincide with Pi Day in 2024.
