Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programme will soon commence disbursement as it’s management request for account details of all beneficiaries.
The accounts according to the information made available by the management through its group on WhatsApp and viewed by our reporter through one of the desk coordinator said, all those captured to benefit from the program should as a matter of urgency submit their account details through their respective desk coordinators.
The management demands that the submission of those accounts should be done within two days. Those who do not have accounts should visit any nearest bank and get one for the purpose.
Newsway reports that, training of shortlisted applicants is still ongoing and may elapse this week. Cash Transfer Facilitators have been mandated to train all NG CARES applicants on business management and savings culture before the commencement of disbursement.
The World Bank has said that the “Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programme will enable each state to earn at least $20 million within a space of 2 years.
The NG-CARES programme is the federal government initiative with support from the World Bank to mitigate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
