The combined market value of all cryptocurrencies now stands at $1 trillion.
The total market value of all cryptocurrencies is at $1.003 trillion, according to data from CoinGecko. With a $676 billion market worth, Bitcoin is still in first place, followed by Ethereum ($136 billion). The top five are completed by Litecoin, Tether, and XRP.
When it reached around $800 billion in January 2018, the total market capitalization last came close to $1 trillion. It has now reached $1 trillion for the first time.
According to Susannah Streeter, senior financial and markets analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, “inflation is proving to be an even difficult opponent to beat than imagined, and Bitcoin and Ether are continuing to get a heavy bruising in the ring.”
They are the main recipients of investors’ flight from hazardous assets as they worry about global consumer prices that are skyrocketing.
Despite the fact that there was a recovery, the market capitalization is still stood at the $1 trillion threshold. According to data from CoinMarketCap, the total market value of all cryptocurrencies rose by 8.10% in the third quarter of 2022, from $872 billion to $943 billion, between July and September.
