The Pi Network community has been eagerly awaiting the moment when their hard-earned Pi tokens from the Testnet can finally find a home in their Mainnet wallets. If you’re wondering how to make this transition, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to move your available migrated Pi into your Mainnet wallet (identified by the green dot):

Step 1: Pass KYC and Complete Mainnet Checklist

  • Before you can initiate the migration process, ensure you have successfully completed your Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.
  • Complete the Mainnet Checklist to prepare for the migration.

Step 2: Initiate Pi Migration

  • After passing KYC and completing the Mainnet Checklist, you can start the Pi migration process.
  • Once migrated, a 14-day pending period begins. During this period, your Pi tokens are held, and you cannot access them.

Step 3: Move Your Available Pi

  • After the 14-day pending period, you can open your Mainnet wallet.
  • Navigate to the ‘migrations’ section.
  • Here, you will find the option to ‘move’ your Pi tokens.
  • Confirm the transfer to move your AVAILABLE Pi into your Mainnet wallet.

Important Note: If you have locked a percentage of your Pi tokens, they will not be available until your lockup period expires. This means if you’ve locked 100%, you won’t have any Pi available for transfer. However, once the lockup period concludes, you can manually move these tokens into your wallet.

Step 4: Adjust Lockup Settings (Optional)

  • After your initial migration, you have the flexibility to adjust your lockup settings.
  • This allows you to decide what percentage of newly mined Pi you want to lock up for the next migration cycle.
  • Be on the lookout for announcements regarding the timing of the next migration.

The process of migrating your Pi tokens to your Mainnet wallet is a significant step towards becoming an active participant in the Pi Network ecosystem. It not only ensures the security of your Pi holdings but also enables you to actively engage with the Pi Network as it continues to evolve. Continue Reading
