Chief Akin Oke, Chairman, All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee in Oyo State, has insisted the death of Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, a past Governor of the state.
Newsmen report that the past Governor was avowed dead in the early extended lengths of Wednesday at 71 years of age.
In a telephone meet with newsmen, Oke said: “It’s an inconsiderate shock since this is a singular mishap to me.
“I’m down in all repercussions.
“I’m astoundingly squashed and can’t really talk much until further notice.
“Compassionate, we should talk later.”
Moreover insisting his passing, a past Military Governor of Oyo State, surrendered Major General Oladayo Popoola, depicted the demise of Alao-Akala as astounding.
Popoola, who is moreover an undeniable indigene of Ogbomoso, the beginning of Alao-Akala in Oyo State, said that knowledge regarding his obliteration was conferred to him by means of phone.

A family source, who contended anonymity, let the newsmen in on that the late Alao-Akala returned to Ogbomoso on Tuesday from Abuja, where he had gone to compliment a past Majority Leader of House of Representatives, Rep. Mulikat Akande-Adeola, on her birthday.
The source said: “He returned from Abuja yesterday (Tuesday) and still held social occasion for specific people in the evening.
“He was noticed dead in his room close to the start of today.”
The source said that he passed on in his Ogbomoso home and his residual parts had been put away at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso funeral home.
Newsmen report that Alao-Akala, a surrendered Police Officer, was in like manner a past Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area.
He was Deputy Governor from 2003 to 2007, and later lead delegate from 2007 to 2011 on the reinforcement of the Peoples Democratic Party.
